Cricket?!

Do we need to give so much importance to this game? There are other exciting and less time consuming games that cricket. These cricketers are cult figures; revered as idols and hogging the limelight for these seemingly superhuman performances which bring nothing good to the nation. Feel good factor is not the only return you get from watching these guys play. You lose your precious time, peace of mind and rob other games their right due. Media, ads, sponsors have hyped up this game by their coverage of cricket and neglect of other sports. People must wake up or else we would be nowhere in Olympics, Hockey, Tennis, Chess...There are talents which have to be identified, nurtured and improved. So much needs to be done. When will we wake up?!
